人类藉由园艺活动来进行治疗的历史已有数百年,其实践所依据的理念甚至可以追溯到古埃及,只是直到20世纪20~30年代,园艺治疗才被美国学界认可为一种专业的治疗方法,并广泛应用于各种社会服务中。对国外园艺治疗的应用及其启示进行总结,力图为园艺治疗在我国社会服务行业领域里的开展提供建议。

Horticultural therapy was not an innovation since modern times.The human history for the treatment of disease by gardening had been hundreds of years,even can be traced back to ancient Egypt,it's only just until 20 s to 30 s of the last century that horticultural therapy was first recognized to be a professional treatment in America and was widely used in various kinds of social services.This article aims to summarize the implications of the application of horticultural therapy abroad,and tries to give some advices for using horticultural therapy in the field of civil social services.
