论我国华侨高等教育的历史与发展

On the History and Development of Overseas Chinese Higher Education

华侨高等教育是我国高等教育的重要组成部分,也是国家侨务工作的重要内容。华侨高等教育是随着国家侨务政策调整在华侨初等教育的基础上发展形成的,它的产生、形成与发展都与国家侨务政策有着密切的关系,也与华侨华人的需求密切相关,它的发展必须遵循高等教育自身的规律。高等教育国际化、大众化、中国高等教育政策的调整和侨情的变化给华侨高等教育带来生源竞争、教育质量、办学定位、为侨服务提升等诸多新问题。华侨高等教育的发展必须坚持提升学术水平和突出侨校特色相统一战略,通过加强师资队伍建设,创新学生培养模式,合理布局学科建设、提升为侨服务水平、创新办学体制机制的途径来实现。

Overseas Chinese higher education is an important part of China's higher education as well as an important part of overseas Chinese affairs. Overseas Chinese higher education was born on the basis of overseas Chinese primary education with the adjustment of national policies on overseas Chinese affairs. Its birth, formation and development is closely related with the national policies on overseas Chinese and the needs of overseas Chinese. In addition, it needs to follow the rules of higher education itself. With the internationalization, popularization and the adjustment of higher education policies and changes of overseas Chinese situation, overseas Chinese higher education is witnessing many problems including competition of student source, education quality, university orientation,promotion of the service for overseas Chinese. The strategy of integrating academic quality with characteristics of overseas Chinese university must be applied by enhancing teaching faculty construction, innovating student cultivation modes, optimizing discipline structure, improving the level to serve overseas Chinese and innovating education mechanism.
