The paper focused on the theories, practices and pictorial expressions related to the topic "Une Histoire de l'art visible" in the museums at the turn of the 18 th and 19 th centuries in Paris, especially around that happened in the Grande Galerie of Louvre, as well as its worldwide influences on the modern and contemporary art institution system.
