煤层气是煤岩在成煤和演化过程中生成的以甲烷为主,现今仍以游离、吸附、固容状态存于煤层中的一部分气体。常规测井方法能有效识别煤层,计算出的煤层气含量为评估煤层气藏储量提供科学依据。

Coal bed gas mainly consists of methane during its formation and evolution. Nowadays, it exists in coal bed as the station of free state, adsorption, solid solution. Normal logging methods could identify coal bed and calculate the quantity of the coal bed gas,which provide scientific reference for assessment of the reserves of the coal bed gas.
