Processing Method and Precautions of Sulfur Accumulation in Feed Line of Tail Gas Incinerator in Sulfur Recovery Unit

本文介绍了硫磺回收装置尾气焚烧炉前积硫的在线处理方法和预防措施。通过降低急冷水循环量和改动流程提高尾气温度融化管道内积硫,成功实现装置开工以来首次在线除硫操作。该方法能够有效避免尾气再生单元因积硫堵塞造成设备损坏及装置停工问题,降低使用管道跨线、尾气线伴热等增加的除硫开支。

This paper introduces the processing method and precautions of sulfur accumulation in feed line of tail gas incinerator. The tail gas temperature was improved by decreasing the amount quench water and process changes to implement the sulfur removal. This method can effectively alleviate equipment damage and avoid unscheduled shut-downs, reduce the expenditure on crossover lines and heating cables for sulfur removal.
