术语翻译的网络检索策略研究

A Study On Web-based Search Strategy of Terminology Translation

基于网络的术语翻译本质上是一个"检索-验证"的翻译过程。以往的研究存在着重方法、轻策略的问题,针对该问题,本文以译者对拟译术语的熟悉程度为依据来决定检索的阶段起点,通过再次评估网页、在线词典、数据库、术语库、翻译记忆库、语料库、在线机器翻译和自媒体等主要网络资源在术语检索验证中的优劣,并以网络资源的可用性、同质性和权威性为主要依据,确定对网络资源的具体选用,提出术语翻译的网络检索总体策略。

Web-based terminology translation is a process of search and verification in nature.After examing the search-method-oriented status quo in web-based terminology translation and looking into the search stage based on the translator’s familiarity of the term to be translated,this paper reevaluates the advantages and disadvantages of webpage,online dictionary,data base,terminology base,translation memory,online corpus,online machine translation and We Media in terms of usage in terminology search and verification,and selects the better online resources on account of the accessibility,homogenicity and authority of various online resources,before proposing a general web-based search strategy of terminology translation.
