元朝境内的金银流通

元朝的金银流通与货币政策密切相关。在元廷收紧货币政策,严禁民间金银流通时,金银作为钞法的组成部分与纸钞相权对换;在元廷放松货币政策,解禁金银流通时,金银又可作为国家财政手段进行运转和流通,但并未直接成为货币形式进入到流通领域。随着国家货币政策的变化,金银在民间的使用逐渐合法化,并进入到商业领域,促进了商品经济的发展,但元朝的金银流通仍然以国家的财政流通为主。
