Selection of a tea accession Tianfu 28 with high quality and resistance

天府28号新品系是从四川群体茶园自然变异个体中单株选择、无性繁殖培育而成,经品种比较、性状鉴定,生化分析、茶叶适制性和抗性研究,表明具有发芽较早、芽叶茸毛多、持嫩性好、产量高、抗逆性强、适应性广、适应性强、品质优等特点,是我省新育成的早生、优质、高抗和适制名优绿茶的优良品种。

Tianfu 28,a newly bred tea accession,was selected from a single natural variant in Sichuan tea population,and bred by single plant selection and vegetative propagation.Researches including cultivar comparison,productive performance observation,biochemical analysis,tea process and resistance identification showed that Tianfu 28 was characterized by early germination,rich fuzz,long tenderness persistance,high yield,high tolerance to stress,wide adaptability and suitability for processing high quality tea,indicating that the accession was an elite cultivar fitting to manufacture green tea.
