摘要
沈清松的著作从跨文化哲学的角度描绘了明清之际以降的中西文化交涉,展现了中西文化之'相反而适相成'的面向。在多元文化的世界,各种文化既要能保存自我的认同,互相承认,互为主体,又应当通过语言外推、实践外推和本体外推达成更高的可普性。没有封闭的文化自信,文化自信来自于文化交往。文化交往带来的文化生成和文化更新,才能避免文化的虚无主义、相对主义和原教旨主义。
Professor Shen’s book From Ricci to Heidegger depicts the Sino-Western cultural communication between the Ming and Qing dynasties from a intercultural philosophy perspective,and shows the 'Coincidentia Oppositorumt'orientation between Chinese and Western culture.Various cultures in a multicultural world must preserve self-identity,mutual recognition and mutual subjectivity,and should construct a more powerful universalizability through linguistic strangification,practical strangification and ontological strangification.Cultural confidence comes from cultural interactions rather than cultural isolation. The cultural generation and cultural renewal brought about by cultural exchange can aviod the nihilism,relativism and fundamentalism of culture.
