摘要
康复医学也被称为物理医学与康复(Physical medicine and rehabilitation,PM&R),是医学的一个分支,旨在提高和恢复患者的功能、能力和生活质量。经过近百年的发展,国际康复医学在发达国家已经达到相当发达的程度,其发展趋势就是通过合理地整合医学、治疗学、生物学、工程学、社会学等的理论和方法,为患者提供更加全面人性化的服务,提高患者的生活质量。
Rehabilitation medicine also known as Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), is a branch of medicine that aims to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities. After nearly a century of development, rehabilitation medicine has reached a considerable level in developed countries. All rehabilitation programs are carried out in multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams including medical specialists for physical and rehabilitation medicine, as well as physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech, to improve the patients’ quality of life.
