符号,就是主体把一种可通过视听知觉所感知的对象与某种事物相联结,使得一定的对象代表一定的事物。当这种规定被一个人类集体所认同,从而成为这个集体的公共约定时,这个对象就成为代表这个事物的符号。意大利著名符号学家埃柯将符号定义为这样一种东西,它根据既定的社会习惯,可被看作代表其他东西的某种东西,即用一个符号代表并不存在的事物。论文从对于符号学及河南朱仙镇木板年画的认识展开论述,重点研究符号学在河南朱仙镇年画中的视觉表达技巧。

A symbol is a subject that connects an object that can be perceived by audiovisual perception to something that makes certain objects represent certain things. When such a provision is recognized by a human collective, and thus becomes the collective public agreement, this object becomes the symbol of the thing. According to the famous Italian semiotics Echo, symbol should be defined as such a thing,which is according to the established social habits and can be viewed as something on behalf of the other things. In This paper is focusedon the visual presentation skills of semiotics in the New Year paintings of Zhuxian county in Henan province.
