The Croatia joined the EU successfully in July 2013 after long waiting and negotiation, which accord with mutual strategic interest. The Croatia after joining the EU will face enormous opportunities and challenges in the political and economic fi eld, especially in the economic fi eld of fi nancial support, trade, employment, tourism and domestic reform. The Sino-Croatia relation is traditional friendship, and has long cooperation history. The Croatia after joining the EU will promote the Chinese strategy of 'One Belt and One Road'.
