This paper discusses the management and operation of the mixed ownership of vocational colleges in relation to motives for development,legal status and bottlenecks.Countermeasures are put forward in maintaining aproportional distribution of rights,allocation of incomes,autonomous operation,information symmetry,supervision and inspection to ensure a long-termed sustainable development of mixed ownership of vocational colleges.
