Diabetes and Fire Toxin

文章旨在探讨糖尿病火毒的成因与防治。通过文献分析,结合临床实践,总结出火毒的形成与演变贯穿于糖尿病始终。火有生理之火和病理之火之分,毒有外来之毒与内生之毒之别。糖尿病火毒形成与饮食不节(如过食肥甘厚味、偏食火毒性食物、饥饱无度、饮食不洁),情志过极(如郁闷恼怒、肝郁化火,忧愁思虑、心火亢盛)以及生活起居不当有关。火毒致损,其性阳热、易伤津耗气,火毒上炎,易生风动血,易扰心神,易致痈疡;火毒致消,蒸于上而为上消,蕴于中而为中消,伏于下而为下消;火毒致变,火毒无其不焚,并发症多端,形成糖尿病复杂证候。防治以慎食节食净火源、生活调摄守真气、清热解毒兼养阴、泻火排毒应固本为原则。这些观点可为糖尿病防治研究提供参考。

The objective of the paper is to explore the etiology,prevention and treatment of diabetes and fire toxin. Through literature analysis and clinical practice,it had been summarized that the formation and development of fire toxin presented in the entire progression of diabetes. Fire is classified as the physiological fire and pathological fire and the toxin is as the exogenous toxin and the endogenous toxin. Fire toxin in diabe-tes is related with improper diet(overeating greasy,sweet and strong flavor food,over - indulgence of food in fire toxin property,irregular food intake and unclean food),over - emotional changes(such as depression,an-ger,liver stagnation transforming into fire,grief,worry,hyperactivity of heart fire)and improper living condi-tion. Fire toxin is yang heat in nature and consumes qi. Flaring - up of fire toxin produces wind and stirs blood,disturbs heart mind and results in carbuncles. The upper jiao injury by fire toxin causes the upper xi-ao,the retention of fire toxin in the middle jiao causes the middle xiao and in the lower jiao causes diabetes of the lower xiao. Additionally,the transformations of fire toxin lead to the complications of diabetes. The proper diet is the origin of the disease prevention and the regular living habit protects the genuine qi. Clearing heat, eliminating toxin combined with nourishing yin,and reducing fire and removing toxin to consolidate the root are the treatment principles. All of these provide the reference for the study on the prevention and treatment of diabetes.
