Huang Yaozhou's Experiences in the Treatment of Eczema

湿疹的发生多与先天禀赋不足、外感风湿热邪、饮食不洁有关,脏腑功能失调是患病主因,风、湿、热之邪是主要致病因素,久病耗伤阴血,病势缠绵。湿疹发病原因复杂,有内在因素与外在因素的相互作用,通常是多方面因素共同致病。由于湿疹的发病原因复杂,临床形态和部位又各有其特点,故湿疹的治疗大多为对症治疗。黄尧洲教授提出重镇安神为根本,清热利湿辅其治,凉血止血贯其中,祛风止痒莫放松的治疗方法。在治病过程中,药少而精,性平味淡,很少用到重浊厚味或较大的处方,且表里同治,标本兼顾,在临床上效果颇佳。临床遣方用药当以龙牡二妙汤加减为主。

Prof. Huang Yaozhou’s experiences were introduced in the clinical treatment of eczema.Eczema is mostly related to congenital insufficiency,invasion of exogenous wind,damp and heat and unclean food intake. Dysfunction of zangfu is the primary factor. Pathogenic wind,damp and heat are the secondary.Long- term sickness consumes yin and blood. The causative factors of eczema are complicated,result from the interaction of internal factors and external factors,and with the clinical morphology and the affected area involved. Hence,the treatment is mostly based on the symptoms. Prof. Huang proposed that the tranquilization was the root and clearing heat and removing dampness were the assistant in the treatment. In the entire procedure of treatment,cooling blood and stopping bleeding,removing wind and stopping itching should be considered. The exterior and the interior,the primary and the secondary should be equally considered in the treatment with fewer ingredients,avoiding strong flavor herbs. The significant efficacy had been achieved. The modified longmu ermiao tang was the chief formula.
