Development Strategy on the Overseas Chinese Medicine Center

海外中医药中心对促进中医药对外传播与发展、提升国家文化软实力具有重要作用。文章分析了建立海外中医药中心的现实需要,包括中医药具有保障人类健康的优势、中医药正逐步得到国际社会的广泛认可,以及中医药日益受到世界卫生组织的重视等三个方面。通过树立国际品牌、充分发挥中医药特色优势、大力开展中医药境外办学、积极开展中医药国际科研合作、加强中医药国际化复合型人才的培育,以及加强同所在区域孔子学院的协同发展等举措,推动海外中医药中心更好地发展。

The overseas Chinese medicine center plays an important role in the promotion and the development of traditional Chinese medicine overseas. In the paper,it analyzes the necessity of the establishment of the overseas Chinese medicine center,including the advantages of TCM on the guarantee of human health,the increasing public recognition of TCM in world and the importance of TCM in WHO. The better development of overseas Chinese medicine center is promoted through establishing TCM international brand,fully developing the characteristic advantages of TCM,vigorously opening overseas education of TCM,actively carrying out the academic cooperation,enhancing the cultivation of inter- disciplinary talents in TCM internationalization and strengthening the collaboration of the regional Confucius institutes,etc.
