Prof. Li Liyun's experiences in the treatment of hypomenorrhea

月经过少是诸多妇科疾病的常见症状,文章着重介绍广东省名中医李丽芸教授治疗月经过少的临床经验。李教授治疗月经过少重视脏腑辨证,认为月经过少主要与肾虚、肝郁、脾虚有关,三种病机间常交互错杂,认为肾虚精亏血少是该病的根本病机;认为肾虚、肝郁、脾虚为本,气滞、血瘀、痰湿为标,该病临床以虚证及虚实夹杂之证最为多见,强调要仔细辨别疾病的虚实轻重,分清标本主次用药;治疗上主张中西合璧,将西医辨病与中医辨证治疗有机结合,使治疗更具有针对性,大大提高疗效;提倡治疗时要循遵循月经周期中行经期、经后期、经间期、经前期的不同阶段,根据气血阴阳消长盛衰的周期性变化规律,分阶段用药,使冲任调畅,胞宫藏泄有序,经血满盈。

Hypomenorrhea is the common symptoms in many gynecological diseases.In the paper,Prof.Li Lirong is the famous TCM physician in Guangdong province and the experiences in the treatment of hypomenorrhea were introduced.Prof.Li stresses on zangfu differentiation in the treatment of hypomenorrhea and believed that kidney deficiency,liver stagnation and spleen deficiency were involved.These three aspects of pathogenesis were interacted among each other.It is believed that kidney deficiency and essence and blood insufficiency are the crucial pathogenesis of the disease.Kidney deficiency,liver stagnation and spleen deficiency are the primary.Qi stagnation,blood stagnation and phlegm damp are the secondary.In clinic,the deficiency syndrome and the mixture syndrome of deficiency and excess are common.It is emphasized that the deficiency,excess and severity of disease should be identified,as well as the primary and the secondary of medication.In treatment,the integration of Chinese medicine and Western medicine is proposed.The organic combination of Chinese medicine and Western medicine improves greatly the therapeutic effects.It is suggested that herbal medication should be prescribed according to the menstrual cycles,i.e.during,after and before menstruation according to the periodicity of the waxing and waning of yin and yang as well as the growing and reducing of qi and blood.Eventually,the treatment benefits the regulation of Chong and Ren meridians and the storage function of the uterus as well as filling up the menses.
