Considering the public-serving characters of the design for resort hotels,and its integration with the surroundings,natural&cultural environments,local features,the trend for outdoor activities of consumption and operation,the focus on the theme&brand of resort hotels,landscape architects are required to respect and enjoy environment consciously,and to handle and treat adequately the position,space,and functions of the resort hotels.Modern landscape design plays a very important role in the process of planning,designing,construction and even in the future operation of resort hotels.In the project of landscape design for Boao Forum for Asia designed by AGER,the harmony and integrity of the architecture and surrounding environments have been fully realized,and it provides favorable conditions for the future long-term operation.
