Summary Report of the 12^(th) International Law Forum:“Global Governance and International Rule of Law”

在2015年10月31日、11月1日召开的第十二届国际法论坛"国际法治与全球治理"国际学术研讨会上,与会代表讨论了国际贸易体制的变革与中国的应对、当前国际法治的热点与中国的参与、国际私法理论与实践的新发展、气候变化与环境保护的全球治理、人权保护与刑事领域的国际合作以及海洋法与海商法中的若干问题。当前,国际形势变幻莫测,新的问题层出不穷,通过国际法治的方式实现全球治理,乃学者们所广泛形成的共识。随着中国在国际事务中的参与度与话语权的逐年提高,中外学者应积极开展学术交流与合作,共同探讨与研究实践中的新问题,为中国在国际法治与全球治理中继续作出有益的贡献提供智力支持。

The 12 thInternational Law Forum'Global Governance and International Rule of Law'was held from Oct 31.to Nov 1.,2015.Subjects addressed by the attendees are as follows:transformation of the international trade system and China’s response,current hot issues concerning the international rule of law and China’s participation,new developments in private international law’s theory and practice,global governance in the areas of the climate change and the environmental protection,human rights protection and international cooperation in criminal matters,and some issues in the fields of sea law and international maritime law.The current international situation is changing too fast to be predictable,with new issues emerging endlessly.The consensus among a large number of scholars is that global governance should be achieved through the international rule of law.With China’s participation and voice in international affaires intensified year by year,scholars both in and abroad China should actively conduct academic exchanges and cooperate with each other in addressing new practical issues,so as to provide intellectual support for China’s continued positive contribution to the international rule of law and global governance.
