一年前,当人们沉醉于WTO的讨论之际,一场全球性的产业转移正在悄然进行。于是,"世界工厂"问题成了当前一个热门话题。大多数观点认为,中国已经具备了建立"世界工厂"的可能性,但离实际形成尚有一定距离。同时将"世界工厂"能否最终在中国形成视为是21世纪所面临的一次重大机遇。通过对世界工厂演变历程的分析,集中论述了中国成为世界工厂所可能产生的负面效应;在此基础上提出了对于中国形成世界工厂的几点建议。

One year ago, when people were addicted to the discussion of WTO, a global industry transformation was going on quietly. So the setting-up of 'world factory' becomes hot issue at present. Most think that China has already the ability to set up 'world factory', But has a distance to go. This essay analyzes the evolvement of world factory, concentrates on the potential negative effects after China become 'world factory', and proposes some suggestions.
