Construction water- saving society is an important strategy set out by Ministry of Water Resources from actual situations of our country.As a pilot unit the water- saving work in Xiaochang County,Hubei Province has got satisfactory ideal effects.The paper is written to introduce Xiaochang’ s experiences in this concern to promote construction of an overall water- saving society in the country.
