语言结构隐含了人们交际的信息交流特点和对生活的态度。本文简述了东西方语言结构和文化的差异及特点,并通过实例基于主述位理论从语言结构功能的角度浅析了东西方语言结构对各自文化发展的影响,认为不同的语言结构促进不同文化的发展并导致文化的差异。

Language structure contains the characteristics of the information exchange and the life attitude of the people. This paper expatiates on the structural and cultural differences between the western and eastern language and uses typical examples to demonstrate the difference based on the Theme-Rheme Theory and from the view of the language function to analyze the effects of language structure on respective culture development.. It is concluded that the different language structure will prompt the formation of culture and lead to the culture difference.
