College teachers of ideological and political course are the communicator and practitioner of Chinese voice and Chinese story.In the new era,the emphasis is on Xi Jinping’s socialist thought with Chinese characteristics.This paper describes a college teacher’s observation of how to understand Xi Jinping’s new thoughts about socialism with Chinese characteristics.In the new era,to grasp the essential ideas of Xi Jingping’s new theory,college teachers should know the circumstances of the country,the world and the history of the Party,propagate positive energy and the theme of socialism with Chinese characteristics,stick to the network position to speak well of the socialist thoughts with Chinese characteristics,and lay a solid theoretical foundation for the socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
