A Preliminary Study on the Teaching of English Reading in Junior Middle School

摘要 在新课标要求下,初中英语教学要在帮助学生夯实英语基础的同时,提升学生的英语写作以及交际能力,激发学生对英语学科的兴趣。我们必须把内容、思维和语言有机整合起来,因为阅读教学绝不是信息解读、思维培养、目标语言点学习、阅读策略体验等的简单相加。我们既要重视对学生阅读策略能力的培养,又要重视学生对阅读习惯、技巧的培养,这样才能更好地提高学生的阅读能力和英语运用能力。 under the new curriculum requirements, junior middle school English teaching should help students consolidate their English foundation while improving their English writing and communicative competence, and stimulate their interest in English subjects. We must integrate content, thinking and language together, because reading teaching is not a simple addition to information interpretation, thinking training, target language learning, reading strategy experience and so on. We should not only attach importance to the cultivation of students' reading strategy ability, but also pay attention to the cultivation of students' reading habits and skills, so as to better improve students' reading ability and English proficiency.
