肿瘤淋巴道转移是影响许多实体瘤预后的一个重要因素。关于肿瘤诱导的淋巴管生成的具体机制目前尚不清楚,与VEGF-C和VEGF-D的调节有关。本文综述肿瘤淋巴管生成,VEGF-C和VEGF-D基因表达,及与肿瘤淋巴道转移的关系。

Metastasis of malignant tumor through the lymphatic system,and the extent of lymph node involvement is a key prognostic factor for the disease.Whereas the ability of tumor cells to induce lymphangiogenesis have been controversial.Here we will review what is known about the mechanisms of lymphangiogenesis,particularly in the context of metastatic tumor spread,and will critically examine the role of VEGF-C and VEWGF-D in this process.
