生态环境的日益恶化,在很大程度上是由于缺乏科学技术上的支持而不合到地开发利用自然资源和破坏性生产所造成的。因此,依靠科技进步对保护和改善生态环境具有决定性意义。我们要从经济发展与环境保护的结合上深入开展环境科学研究,不断开发适用技术,从而把依靠科技进步保护和改善生态环境建立在可靠的基础上。

The increasing degradation of eco-environment is, to a great extent, caused by irrational utilization and exploitation of national resources and destructive production because of lacking scientific and technolgical sup port. Therefore, the advance of science and technology plays a decisive role in protecting and improving the eco-environ-ments. On the basis of combination of economic development and environmental protection, environmental science researches should be carried out and appropriate techniques should be gradually developed in order to found a reliable base for relying on science and technology to protect and improve eco-environment.
