On the essential connection between health education and school physical education

学校体育是学校教育的重要组成部分,必须遵循"健康第一"的学校教育指导思想.因此,正确理解健康教育的实质、学校体育的内涵及二者的内在联系是搞好学校体育改革的核心问题,也是目前亟待解决的问题.

As the main component of education, physical education must follow the principle of 'Health First'. Accordingly, it is the core in reform of physical education that understand correctly the essence of health education and the connotation of school physical education and the essential connection between them, which is also an urgent issue.
