文化是与自然和先天相对应的一种概念,它是人类在改造自然、社会和自我过程中所创造的物质财富和精神财富的总和,几乎所有的文化内容都与人类的活动及发展有关.教育也是一种文化现象,是整个人类文化的有机组成部分.人既是文化的对象、载体,又是文化的传播者和创造者.教育要代表先进文化前进的方向,最根本的在于培养合格的建设者和接班人,而培养合格的建设者和接班人必须把提高学生的思想道德素质放在首位.

As a opposite concept of nature and inherent quality, culture denotes the totality of the wealth, in terms of both material and spiritual, created in the course of man's development of the nature, society and himself, comprising all the content and activities related to culture of the human beings, from which education, an integral part of the human culture, is not an exception. Man is the object, carrier as well as disseminator and creator of culture. To assume the role of representing the orientation of advanced culture, the development of the students' ethic integrity should be put at a place of vital importance in the course of bringing up qualified builders and successors of socialism in the future development of education.
