The System of Studying Only during Five Weekdays was an important reformatory measure concerning new study guidance, which was implemented in 2002 in Japan. The measure was taken to set aside enough time for students to stay in families and communities, which played an important role in cultivating children. This article explores the background and purpose of reformatory measure, and analyzes the circumstance of executing the reformatory measure in a year, which will provide references for improving double-day weekends system in our country. 
