In the history of English literature,the story of the three sisters,Charlotte(1816~1855),Emily(1818~1848)and Anne(1820~1849),is one of the most important and the saddest pages.They were the daughters of a poor clergyman in the little village of Haworth,Yorkshire,in northern England.Their mother died in 1821.
