从技术辞书编纂的基本原则出发 ,介绍综合性大型辞书《水运技术词典》修订编写的目标和技术要求 ,以及修订工作的基本过程和工作体会 ,同时对《水运技术词典》出版后的实用情况进行概略总结。

Based on the principle of compiling technical dictionary, this paper introduces the goals and technical requirements of revising the large dictionary “A Waterway Transportation Technology Dictionary”and the revising process as well as what is learned. The situation of its application in practice after published is also summarized.
