With the advance of modern technology,smart phones are becoming more and more popular and their security has attracted many attentions.Biometric authentication is an efficient way to control the access of private information.This paper introduces face recognition technology for privacy protection in smart phones.A private file protection system based on face recognition is developed on the Android platform.It combines with Android's file protection and can effectively improve system security for smart phones.
