This paper introduces the present condition of'Probability and Statistics'teaching in application oriented colleges,proposes recommendations and measures for its teaching reform,and makes a detailed analysis on the key contents.In the meantime,the effect of using mathematical software on its teaching reform is discussed and an example of using Matlab for regression analysis is provided.
