The Intermediate Zone Theory and the Three-World Theory are Mao Zedong’s basic strategic thinking about the layout of the world politics.The former theory is the embryo of the latter while the latter is the further development of the former.Only by multilateral cooperation can the result of mutual winning be achieved against the background of multi-polar structure of the world and democratization of the international relations.
