Multimedia in Vocational & Technical Colleges’ Public English Teaching

多媒体在公共英语教学实践中的优势体现在:激发学习兴趣、提高教学效率、开发学生的智力、增长学生知识几个方面。多媒体应用于高职公共英语教学应从以下几个方面做起:传统教学与多媒体教学相结合、利用阅读课件进行"整体阅读"、利用网络资源"精泛结合,扩大阅读"、利用英语社团活动激发学生学习英语的兴趣、利用英语讲座增强学生的参与意识。

Advantages of multimedia public English teaching are characterized by the following:the students’ enthusiasm in learning was raised,teaching efficiency was improved,the students’mind was broadened and more knowledge was gained.To achieve good effect,traditional teaching should related with multimedia teaching,overall reading should be carried out by reading courseware,connect extension with intension to broad reading scope,arouse students’enthusiasm by English community,lectures should be held to enhance the students’sense of participation.
