Zhalong Wetland, Where Red-crown Cranes Spread Their Wings

乌裕尔河末端漫溢而成的扎龙湿地,因着水质干净,苇草肥美,鱼虾丰盛而成为丹顶鹤的圣地和家乡。得仙禽栖息于此,扎龙便生了神韵。风吹苇低、旷然无际的碧波深处,不时可见丹顶鹤的曼妙仙姿,或蹁跹起舞,或仰天长鸣,或驭风凌云,好一幅充满诗意的生态和谐画卷。

Zalong Wetland fed by the tail of the Wuyuer River enjoys clean water, exuberant reeds and abundant fishes and shrimps, thus becoming a sacred home for red-crown cranes. The bird is the soul of the wetland. When the reeds are billowing in the breezes, red-crown cranes are dimly seen in the vast water, sometimes singing and sometimes dancing. What a poetic and harmonious picture.
