“Beibei” and Its “Daddy”

在吉林省向海国家级自然保护区,有一块100公顷的湿地。这里芦苇丛生、百鹤翱翔。来向海的人,都忘不了到这里领略“向海舞鹤”的仙情美景,也喜爱聆听关于丹顶鹤的故事。这块让无数游客意犹未尽的湿地叫仙鹤岛。在仙鹤岛里,似乎每个丹顶鹤都有一段不寻常的往事,但最让人津津乐道的还是丹顶鹤贝贝“恋父”的故事。夏季的一天,我带着好奇走进了仙鹤岛。跟饲养员打了招呼,正巧,她刚要把传说中的贝贝放出笼门。

Interesting and harmonious stories between Beibei, a red-crown crane in Xianghai National Natural Reserve, and her babysitter Xu Rong a keeper of the reserve are very touching. The crane treats Xu as a father figure in her life and Xu loves Beibei as his own daughter.
