If this crystal-clear lake, born in the saline-alkali, is a gift from nature, then the 100-mu artificial bird island, the earth of which was arduously hauled by human, is a return of nature’s kindness. Sha Lake has placed faith in us that a seed of the reef can grow to an oasis and in the wild west outside the Helan Mountain the oasis in the desert can be as gentle and sweet as the southern China. Everything is possible, as long as we care about the nature and make good use of the resources at our disposal.
