The purchase of Alaska, the biggest state of the USA, is lauded as the most successful land deal in America or even in the world. With the largest wild life reserves in the states, it is home to polar bears and birds. Kaktovik is a town of Inuits, whose ancestors about 4,000 to 5,000 years ago migrated from the northern and central Asia to Alaska. Modern Inuit people still preserve the almost primitive lifestyle and they are granted with a three-whale quota by the government every year. We come here to have the first-hand experience of the Inuit culture, where hunters share their preys with wild animals.
