Wild Flowers on Qinghai Plateau

丁香适宜青海的气候,也是青海人喜欢的花。我曾经在福建泉州的开元寺见过菩提,与青海丁香酷似。但是,花和叶子都比丁香大。菩提从印度传入中国,含有佛意,想来丁香与菩提定是有某种联系。一夜大风,不由为那刚刚盛开的丁香担心,它的命运会怎样呢?开车来到下大板山的柏川峡,一路上,眼见丁香花好端端地开在枝头上,很欣慰。

The blossoming primrose flower heralds the coming of the spring in Qinghai. Where there is a flower, there will be singing birds. Rosy corydalis and astragalus, which are blossoming in the stone cracks or by the cliffs, are billowing in the wind.
