A Comparison of the Order of the Chapters in the Han Slips Version and the Received Version of the Art of War

汉简本与传世本《孙子兵法》篇章次序有差异,行军篇排列在军争篇之前,实虚篇排列在行军篇和军争篇之后,用间篇排列在火攻篇前,汉简本更为合理。

The Han Slips version of the Art of War differs from the received version in the order of the chapters. In the former version the chapter of Marching of Troops precedes that of Maneuvering, chapter of Weak Points and Strong comes after chapters of Marching of Troops and Maneuvering, and chapter of the Use of Spies comes before Attack with Fire. The Han Slips version is more reasonable.
