Another Interpretation of “If You Are Not in Danger, Do Not Fight a War”

《孙子兵法》"非危不战"的"危"字,用的是其"原生态"的意义:战争准备在没有达到蕴含着巨大动能"危"的程度不轻易开战。后世注释用的是"危"字的"升级版""害"的意义。这是误读。

The Art of War is of the opinion that 'If you are not in danger, do not fight a war.' The 'danger' has its original meaning, which means one should not fight a war until the preparation for the war has not reached the level containing great danger. The latter annotation of the 'danger' has the meaning of 'harm'. This is misreading of the original work.
