A Brief Analysis to the Reasons for the Failure of the 14th Red Army

红十四军是中国工农红军的一部分,于1930年4月成立,该年10月解散。红十四军是全国红军序列中于江苏省内唯一的一支正规红军,也是唯一一支战斗在敌人统治最严、反动势力最强的心脏地带的工农革命武装。红十四军之所以失败,是由于"左倾"思想的影响,对敌强我弱的形势认识不足;内部不纯,内奸叛变革命;部队综合素质差,战斗力不强;敌重兵疯狂"围剿"等因素造成。

The 14 th Red Army,a branch of the Chinese Workers and Peasants' Red Army,was established in April 1930 and dissolved in October of the same year. The 14 th Red Army was the only formal troop of the red army system nationwide in Jiangsu Province,also the only workers and peasants' revolution troop that fought in the heart zone of the enemy where the enemy had the most strict ruling system and the strongest reactionary force. The failure of the 14 th Red Army could be attributed to the following reasons: the influence of the left- leaning philosophy led to insufficient recognition of the state that the energy was stronger and our force was weaker; our core leadership team was not pure and traitors betrayed revolution; the troops had poor overall quality and had weak fighting capacity; our force was frantically encircled by a large number of enemy troops.
