基于SNMP协议的网络管理在TCP/IP中得到了广泛的应用,MIB是网络管理子系统各功能间的公共接口,是实现整个网络管理的关键。由于实际应用中许多企业局域网的MIB库信息是不可配置的,这使得SNMP协议对网络的控制能力大大降低。为此,可以考虑通过扩展MIB来寻求此类局域网的解决方案。分析了基于SNMP的MIB库访问,重点介绍了一种动态MIB扩展机制,提出通过使用一个能够生成C语言代码的MIB编译器实现MIB的接口功能。

With the development of network, network management based on SNMP is applied more and more under TCP/IP. MIB provides the common interface between all functions and it is the key to realize the whole network management. As MIB information of some LAN cannot be configured, SNMP cannot control effectively the network. For that, we bring forward a solution to the problem by extending MIB. In this paper, the concrete access methods of MIB are analyzed and a rule of dynamic extending MIB is introduced particularly. It gives the implementation of the interface by using the MIB compiler that can create C code. We hope that this paper can provide an elicitation for network management of LAN.
