The Culture Cause of Power' s Combination in Xuanwu Door Incident

“玄武门事变”一直是唐史研究中的热点问题,与以往诸研究不同的是,作者没有囿于政治史的视角,而是将这一事件置于唐初社会文化大融合的背景中去探求事变双方力量纠合的原因。在对以往研究成果的剖析的基础上,作者又对李建成、李元吉、李世民的文化倾向(intendency)作了细致的分析,认为文化取向的不同,也是导致中间力量李元吉倒向李建成而不是李世民的深层原因之一。

Study of Xuanwu Door Incident is a hotspot all the while. In this article, the author viewed this incident in the background of the amalgamation of society and culture in the early days in the Tang Dynasty, to research the cause of power' s combination. The culture tendency of Li Jiancheng, Li Shimin, Li Yuanji had been analyzed, and the author said that the difference of culture tendency between Li Shimin and Li Yuanji induced that Li Yuanji abeting Li Jiancheng.
