为了满足用户不断提出的新业务要求,电信企业组建了不同的业务功能子网,包括长途网、本地网、智能网(IN)、数据通信网、声讯网等物理网络。也组建了七号信令网、时钟同步网和网管网等。这些业务和功能网络之间都有着千丝万缕的联系,网络所涉及到的维护、计费、安全及认证等信息都需要一个共同的标准“时间”。设备和系统的时间同步成为了人们关注与思考的重要课题。

Along with the rapid development of new telecom services for customers 'requirements,the telecom company builds some physical networks,such as PSTN,IN,DDN,No.7,TMN and so on.Because these networks exchange much informa-tion,the system running on these networks such as account system,monitor system requires the same standard time.We need to think about the time synchronization method of telecom devices.
