EFFECTS OF PHENOLS ON ALGAL CELLS FROM GREEN ALGAE SCENEDESMUS OBLIQUUS (TURP.) KUETZING.

摘要 作者测定了120余种化学药物,其中30余种为酚类化合物对斜生栅列藻的毒性影响。所用方法为在培养基内混入溶解后的各种药物,接种藻类后进行培养,观察效果。实验证明邻羟基苯甲醛和5,5’-二氯-2,2’-二羟基二苯甲烷及5种胺类化合物对藻类具有毒性。50ppm剂量的邻羟基苯甲醛和DDM足以杀死藻类,使藻类由绿色变成白色,叶绿体破坏,叶绿素消失。扫描电镜和透射电镜照片表明,两种药物的作用主要在破坏叶绿体和贮藏物淀粉粒。 120 chemicals have been testedon Scenedesmus obliquus (Turp.) Kuet-zing for thier toxicity by adding theminto the media of algae culture,thirtyof these chemicals are phenol com-pounds.Experiments have shown thatsalicylaldehyde,dichlorophene and fiveamines are very effective algicides.Small amounts of salicylaldehyde (50ppm) or dichlorophene (50 ppm) in-hibited the development of the algae.The algal cells changed their colorfrom green to white while being cultured in the media with either of thetwo chemicals (see Fig.1 and Fig.2). The photographs taken with transmission electron microscope and scanning electron microscope have indicated that both chemicals are very toxicto the cells.The chloroplasts weredamaged by salicylaldehyde,espe-cially thylakoids were disintegrated. In other photographs it was shownthat the nucleus appeared to be difficult to identify,starch grains diffused out to fill up the cell and the inter-nal membrane system of the cell organwere broken.
