摘要
本文以翻译硕士专业学位(MTI)的计算机辅助翻译(CAT)教学实践为例,探讨了以翻译项目为主导的MTI机辅翻译教学模式。基于对多元互补翻译教学模式的认同,本文所构建的CAT教学模式尝试将传统翻译教学和基于认知建构主义理论的新型教学模式进行有机结合。作者从课程教学与项目操作两个维度探讨了翻译项目、CAT技术与翻译教学三者相结合的策略与方法。在此基础上,作者提出将翻译项目引进CAT课堂的多元互补教学模式是切实可行的,它不仅可以强化学生的机辅翻译技术,而且有利于提高其在翻译实践、职业素养、团队协作以及项目管理与决策等方面的综合能力。
With a case study,this paper explores the feasibility of implementing a project-focused teaching mode in teaching the course of Computer-Aided Translation(CAT)to master students of translation and interpreting(or MTI students).The authors believe that the constructive learning theory,which highlights the learner’s ability to construct knowledge by himself through experience,and the traditional objectivist conception of learning,which stresses on knowledge transfer from the teacher to the learner,can be complementary rather than contradictory to each other.This paper is an attempt to construct a new teaching mode that embraces both learning theories.It is hoped that,this hands-on teaching practice will not only enhance students’translation skills and ability in utilizing modern translation technology,but also enable them to hone their skills in teamwork,project management and decision-making,so as to better prepare them for the professional world.
