'The Belt and Road'suggestion has effectively promoted the cooperation and communication among the65 countries along the line,enhanced the friendship among people from various countries,and affected many aspects of their daily lives.The paper analyzes the differences of proprieties in greeting,shaking hands and table manners between the East and the West.Understanding these differences will help us enhance mutual understanding in cross-cultural communication,and avoid culture shock and unnecessary conflicts.
