As a model of five rhythms in the early Tang Dynasty,Li Qiao’s Hundred Poems lays emphasis on auspicious sign in selecting creative objects, image, allusion and artistic conceptions. This may be related to the palace poems’ style, and Li Qiao’s official position and writing experience. At the same time, there is an inner connection with the political demands and Li Qiao’s political positions. Because Queen Wu proclaimed herself empress as a woman, establishing the Wu Zhou regime especially needs to use auspicious sigsn to highlight Empress Wu’s destiny. Li Qiao participated in Queen Wu’s constructing of Destiny and disseminating auspicious signs.
